I award Tonker best accurate (sometimes debatable) present and historic Wigan knowledge trophy. We have had a few disagreements (in good faith) but when I can't find info from anyone else, Tonks regularly comes up with very reasonable scenarios and actual facts.
My award to Tonker is best local and historic knowledge... I guess others may have their own agenda as Tonk is often controversial.
Oh, and best poet to Jarvo.

What about the award for Wigan World's Shithouse of the year, because there will be a few candidates for that

I nominate Tommy 2 stroke for most interesting creative spelling award,
Golden bear for his life time of caring for the working person and his energy in seeking the fair rewards for their devotion to the company they worked for,
El Gringo tonker for cementing Anglo/Euro bacco and wine sales during the Brexit campaign

BB for services to guarding our shores . policing our highways and providing our skool kids and teechers with heat, ink and safe playgrounds to skip n' jump in.

Peter P for his tireless devotion and dedication to his wife

I think Baz deserves a mention because, he's the only one in My ignore list who has realized that, I don't read their comments and is therefore the cleverist of the ' Some people'

FM?

Can we count individual instances or are we limiting it to single threads?

Tom and TTS thank you both but when we got married one of the vows then was "In sickness and health" . I can only do my best for Yvonne and try to make her as comfortable has possible.

Peter we also promised to 'OBEY' our wives which. Is no longer in the standard vows as the young generation tend not to think it appropriate,,

Tom I don't have that problem Yvonne is asleep most of the day as well as 12 hrs at night. Most of the youth of today don't know what marriage is never mind the old vows.
